JAMB Allows SIM and Email Changes for Candidates Who Lose Access

JAMB has lifted its restriction on changing registered phone numbers and email addresses for candidates who lose access to them. From September 21, 2026, affected candidates can update their details through a controlled verification process. The Board says the process will use stronger identity authentication and biometric checks to prevent fraud and unauthorised account access. The change is expected to help UTME candidates who could not continue with JAMB processes after losing their SIM cards or email accounts.
