Otti Defends Claim That Obi Left $155m in Anambra Accounts

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has reaffirmed his claim that Peter Obi left $155 million in three banks when he completed his tenure as Anambra governor. Otti said he had previously cited the funds in an article on prudent government spending. He added that, as a bank CEO at the time, he advised that the money be kept in dollars rather than naira. He said the Soludo administration's position does not erase the credit balance he referenced, and challenged the Anambra State Government to publish its debt records if it disputes the claim.
