Okpebholo Promises Five-Minute Security Response Across Edo
Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo says his administration is working towards a five-minute response time for security emergencies across the state. Speaking in Benin City, the governor said dedicated emergency phone lines would soon be introduced to help residents report threats and get rapid assistance. He said the government was strengthening the state’s security architecture to tackle kidnapping, robbery and other crimes. Okpebholo said Edo would become safer within the next month and urged residents to support efforts to protect lives, property and businesses. He also said procurement for several road projects was nearing completion, with contractors expected to begin work soon.
