The report also notes that inflation, food prices, fuel subsidy removal and exchange-rate reforms remain serious challenges. It says Tinubu’s prospects could depend on whether voters see clear economic improvements before the election. Peter Obi is credited with strong credibility and support among younger voters, but the report says he must convert that popularity into a nationwide political structure. Atiku Abubakar’s experience and national reach were also recognised, while opposition unity was identified as the factor most capable of changing the race.
