Why a Continental African Government Would Fail
We’re seeing violent attacks on African migrants in South Africa while the African Union stays silent. Instead of addressing these abuses, AU leaders seem more focused on their social events in Addis Ababa. A single continental government risks becoming one of the most corrupt administrations on earth. If current AU officials can’t act decisively against violence and injustice, scaling up that structure would only magnify the problem. What we need are independent, revolutionary movements across Africa united in solidarity to challenge both internal oppressors and external exploiters. A truly free Africa will come from grassroots action, not a distant, top-heavy government.
