Nigerian Army Rescues Kidnapped Woman, Arrests Two Suspects in Benue
The Nigerian Army has successfully rescued a 28-year-old woman from kidnappers in Benue State. Troops from Operation WHIRL STROKE acted swiftly on credible intelligence to free the victim in Tse-Ubena village and secure her safe return to family. Earlier, soldiers raided a suspected criminal hideout in Gwer West Local Government Area. During the operation, two men were arrested and are now in custody for further investigation. The coordinated effort involved troops from Bilawa-Jor, Naka, Tor-Donga, and operatives of the Benue State Civil Protection Guard. Major General Moses Gara commended the professionalism and prompt response of the forces. He reaffirmed the Joint Task Force’s commitment to securing communities, especially ahead of the farming season.
