Iran’s FM Rejects US-Israel Ceasefire Call, Warns of Dire Consequences
Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi told NBC News that Tehran will not seek a ceasefire or negotiate with the United States. He cited two past talks that collapsed amid US attacks as proof that negotiations are futile. Araghchi warned that any US ground invasion would end in disaster for Washington. He said Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared for all scenarios. Separately, Iran’s IRGC Navy claims its drones struck the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Gulf of Oman, forcing the carrier and its escorts to retreat more than 1,000 km. These claims follow joint US-Israeli strikes on Iranian cities and Tehran’s missile and drone counterattacks.
