Remita Launches Consumer App for Banking, Payments and Money Management

Remita has launched a consumer mobile app that combines banking, everyday payments and money-management tools on one platform. The app was introduced at Nigeria Fintech Week 2026 as the fintech company expands beyond its traditional payment services into retail financial services. Users can link multiple accounts from participating banks and make transfers, pay bills, buy airtime and data, and complete government or merchant payments. Remita said the app will also offer investment and lending services through its financial partners. The company plans to add more consumer-focused services as the platform develops.
