Interior Minister Mourns Pa Reuben Fasoranti at 100

With a heavy heart, I join Nigerians in mourning Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti, CFR, who died at the age of 100. Pa Fasoranti was a respected Afenifere leader and a lifelong disciple of Chief Obafemi Awolowo. He was known for advocating justice, true federalism, Yoruba dignity, national unity and democratic values. His contributions to Ondo State and Nigeria’s political development will remain memorable. I extend my condolences to his family, the people of Ondo State, Afenifere and everyone inspired by his life of service. May his soul rest in peace, and may those he left behind find comfort.
