Nicki Minaj Reaffirms Support for Trump After Democrats’ Midterm Wins
Nicki Minaj has reaffirmed her support for Donald Trump after Democrats won control of both chambers of Congress in the US midterm elections. In a series of posts, she praised Trump and other Republican figures, urged Republicans to “wake up” and thanked her fans, known as the Barbz. Minaj also congratulated Florida Governor-elect Byron Donalds and Republican Representative Anna Paulina Luna, though Luna’s race had not been called at the time of the report. She praised Vice President JD Vance and Elon Musk, and called the AI assistant Grok a “phenomenal product.” The rapper shared a short video responding to criticism of her support for Trump and the Make America Great Again movement. The election results are expected to make it harder for Trump to advance his agenda in Congress.
