Ogun Police to Arraign Three Over Alleged Assault on Officers in Ago-Iwoye
Ogun State Police Command says it will arraign three suspects over the alleged obstruction and assault of officers on duty in Ago-Iwoye. The suspects are a 51-year-old woman, a 21-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman. Police said the incident followed the interception of an unregistered Toyota Camry on September 29 at Fibigbade Street. According to the command, a Toyota Highlander later blocked officers from moving the Camry to the station at Abobi Street, leading to a confrontation. Two officers were allegedly assaulted. Police said the suspects will face five counts, including conspiracy, obstruction, assault and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.
