91-Year-Old Woman Dies After Monkey Knocks Her Down Outside Her Home in India

A 91-year-old woman has died after a monkey knocked her to the ground outside her home in Karnataka, India. CCTV footage reportedly shows the woman walking near her courtyard when the monkey suddenly leapt at her. She fell backwards, hit her head and sustained serious injuries. Her daughter found her shortly after the incident and she was taken to hospital. Although she initially appeared to be recovering, her condition worsened and she died the following day. The death comes amid reports of other fatal falls linked to monkey encounters in parts of India in recent weeks.
