AFPAA President Nwala Urges Parliamentary Aides to Turn Ramadan Values into Democratic Gains
The African Parliamentary Aides Association (AFPAA) has extended warm Eid el-Fitr greetings to its Muslim members across Africa. In a message on 19th Thursday, AFPAA President High Chief Barr. Emeka Nwala celebrated the successful completion of Ramadan and praised the faith, discipline, and compassion it fosters. He called on parliamentary aides to carry Ramadan’s virtues—sacrifice, humility, charity, and unity—into their work. Nwala stressed that these values are vital for strengthening democratic institutions and promoting peaceful coexistence on the continent. Expressing optimism, the AFPAA President encouraged members to let their spiritual renewal inspire greater dedication to nation-building.
