Okonkwo Alleges APC Created NDC to Draw Peter Obi Away From ADC

Political activist Kenneth Okonkwo has alleged that the APC created the National Democratic Congress to draw Peter Obi away from the African Democratic Congress-led opposition coalition. Speaking during a TV interview, Okonkwo described the NDC as an APC-backed arrangement. He also questioned why some politicians reportedly moved from the ADC to the NDC near the close of nominations. Okonkwo said anyone who joined the NDC should be viewed with suspicion, alleging that the party serves as a surrogate for the APC. The allegations were presented without independent evidence in the interview excerpt.
