Ogun Man Arrested Over Alleged Copper Cable Theft at Abia Bus Terminal

Operatives of the Abia State Community Policing/Vigilante Unit have arrested a man, identified as Samuel Taiwo, over the alleged theft of copper cables at the Nnenna Otti Bus Terminal in Umuahia. Security sources said the suspect, who is from Ogun State, was apprehended during an operation at the terminal, which is monitored by CCTV cameras. He reportedly told investigators that he worked as a tiler during the terminal’s construction and was familiar with its electrical installations. The case highlights ongoing concerns about vandalism of public infrastructure.
