Nigeria’s public debt has reportedly risen to ₦166 trillion, increasing by about ₦7 trillion within three months. I believe Governor Charles Soludo should address this development, alongside concerns about insecurity, corruption and the economic hardship facing many Nigerians. In my view, he speaks more often about Peter Obi than about these wider national issues. With elections approaching, I think public officials should focus on governance and matters affecting citizens.
