Peter Obi Says He Will Concede 2027 Election If It Is Free and Fair

Peter Obi says he will accept defeat in the 2027 presidential election if the process is free, fair and credible. Speaking in a televised interview, the former Anambra State governor said the choice of Nigeria’s next president must reflect the will of the people. He said he would respect the outcome of a credible election. Obi also repeated his position that he won the 2023 presidential election. He said the officials who conducted the poll know what happened during the transmission glitch, but added that he has left the matter in the past.
