Call for Online Civility After Oyo Kidnapping Rescue

Since the rescue of kidnapped victims in Oyo, I have seen disturbing reactions online. Some Tinubu supporters celebrate the rescue but then tell Obi backers they should ‘unalive’ themselves over disappointment. Meanwhile, Obidients dismiss the kidnapping as a scam and deny the victims’ suffering. Calling real trauma fake shows a special kind of cruelty. We can do much better than this. I doubt this incident will change many minds in the election, so both sides should calm down and engage respectfully.
