Lagos Summit to Tackle Poor Electricity Supply With Power Sector Experts
Lagos State plans to bring electricity regulators, distribution companies, resellers and suppliers together to address persistent power supply problems at the 2026 Lagos Energy Summit. Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources Biodun Ogunleye said the three-day summit will examine structural challenges and develop practical solutions to improve supply. It is scheduled for November 10 to 12, 2026. Permanent Secretary Ibilola Kasumu said the event will focus on specific industry problems and expert-led solutions, rather than relying mainly on policy speeches and presentations.
