DNKI Calls on President Tinubu to Bolster Security and Inspire National Renewal at Eid
De Norsemen Kclub International issued a statement marking Eid-al-Fitr, urging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intensify and review Nigeria’s security strategies. The organisation highlighted the urgent need to protect lives and property amid rising insurgency, banditry and kidnappings. DNKI stressed that peace and stability are essential for meaningful national development. It called for a coordinated effort by the government, security agencies and citizens to restore confidence and sustain lasting peace. The group congratulated the Muslim community on completing Ramadan and emphasised values of sacrifice, discipline, compassion and unity. It appealed for sustained prayers for security personnel and even for those involved in violent activities, seeking divine intervention to steer them toward peace. DNKI extended condolences to families affected by the recent bomb blast in Maiduguri. It urged leaders at all levels to demonstrate integrity, empathy and people-centred governance. The organisation challenged Nigerians to use this Eid as a turning point for national rebirth, moral integrity and good governance.
