Kaduna Citizen Challenges Christopher Musa to Match His Criticism of El-Rufai With Accountability

Kaduna Citizen Challenges Christopher Musa to Match His Criticism of El-Rufai With Accountability

Dear General Christopher Musa, you have the right to criticise former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai. But as a Kaduna citizen, I also have the right to ask questions about the serious allegations you made against him, including claims that he divided the state and planned killings in Southern Kaduna. Such allegations require evidence and proper investigation. If El-Rufai committed crimes or abused office, he should be investigated and made to face the law. Television interviews and political statements should not be treated as convictions. I also believe your own tenure as Chief of Defence Staff deserves scrutiny. Nigerians witnessed deadly security incidents, alleged military airstrike casualties and repeated attacks on communities during that period. I am not accusing you of personally ordering any deaths, but Nigerians deserve answers on intelligence failures, protection of communities and the limits of the military response. Kaduna's insecurity has a long and complex history that did not begin or end with El-Rufai. Accountability must apply to everyone: governors, generals, ministers and presidents. Kaduna deserves facts, justice and honest reflection, not selective memory.
