Boko Haram Suspect Surrenders to Troops in Borno With RPG Launcher
A Boko Haram suspect has surrendered to Operation HADIN KAI troops in Pulka, Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State. The military said he surrendered voluntarily at about 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday. Preliminary findings indicate that he previously operated around the Mandara Mountains near the Nigeria-Cameroon border. Troops reportedly recovered an RPG launcher, one RPG round and a mobile phone from him. He is undergoing preliminary investigation and profiling.
