Anambra Police Meet Arewa Leaders to Strengthen Community Security
Anambra State Commissioner of Police Nnanna Oji Ama has met leaders of the Arewa Community from the state’s 21 local government areas to discuss security concerns and community policing. The meeting focused on intelligence sharing, mutual trust and early action on emerging threats. The police commissioner said effective policing requires cooperation from community leaders, residents and other stakeholders. Arewa Community leaders pledged to support the police and other security agencies in protecting lives and property. The command also reaffirmed its commitment to working with all law-abiding residents, regardless of ethnic, religious or social background.
