Ibusa Singles Meet Alumni Launch Network for Friendship and Community Projects

Former members of Ibusa Singles Meet Worldwide have launched the ISM Alumni Network to preserve friendships built in the group and support community-focused projects in Ibusa. The network has more than 80 members with ancestral ties to Ibusa. At its inaugural meeting, members elected an executive led by President Ifeyinwa Izegbu and outlined plans for reunions, charitable projects, seminars and family-development activities. A Welfare Department has also been created to support members’ wellbeing. The alumni body says it will build on the social connections and community values developed through the original singles group, where members say 44 marriages have resulted from relationships formed within the group.
