Lagos Fashion Week 2026 Day 2: Fringe, Bold Reds and Experimental Menswear Take the Runway
Day 2 of Lagos Fashion Week 2026 brought 19 runway shows to the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, with designers exploring heritage, texture and striking new silhouettes. We saw fringe emerge as a major trend, appearing in collections by Dust of the Earth, Cute Saint, Oshobor and others. Red also made a strong statement, while brown and other earth tones gave several collections a warm, rich feel. Menswear took a more daring turn with cropped tops, skirts, wrappers and relaxed utilitarian styling. Designers also reworked traditional textiles such as Aso Oke, Adire and Akwete through beading, crochet, feathers and woven details. With collections from Hertunba, Sevon Dejana, Cynthia Abila, Imprint South Africa, Christie Brown and more, the second day showed that Lagos Fashion Week still has plenty of creative energy ahead.
