APM Members in Oyo’s Oluyole LGA Defect to APC Ahead of 2027
Some leaders and members of the Allied Peoples Movement in Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State have defected to the All Progressives Congress. The defectors announced their move at the APC state secretariat in Ibadan on Friday. They were led by Kazeem Mustapha, who presented the group to the state party leadership. Mustapha said the group could no longer remain in the APM and had chosen to join the APC because of what he called the party’s progressive direction. The move comes as political parties in Oyo State begin building their structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
