NASENI Trains 100 Ikole-Ekiti Youths in Solar Installation, Provides Starter Kits
NASENI has trained 100 youths from Ikole-Ekiti and nearby communities in solar device installation, electrical maintenance and modern installation methods. The one-week programme ended on 25 September 2026. Participants received starter equipment including electrical toolboxes, multimeters, drilling machines, safety gear and torque wrenches. Organisers said the training is intended to help the beneficiaries build practical skills, start small businesses and meet growing demand for solar and electrical maintenance services. Community leaders urged the trainees to use the equipment for business rather than sell it.
