Ex-Alpha-Beta Employee Petitions Police, ICPC and EFCC Over Alleged Signature Forgery

A former Alpha-Beta Consulting employee has accused the company’s Chief Technical Officer of allegedly forging his signature on a 2023 Cybersecurity Policy and altering official records. The former employee said he was excluded from the policy finalisation process, then discovered that his signature had been inserted on a document sent for management approval. He also alleged a pattern of workplace bullying, discrimination and professional marginalisation. He said an internal panel was set up after his complaint and that the CTO admitted cropping and inserting the signature because he was unavailable. However, he alleged that the panel’s findings were never released and no action was taken. The matter has been petitioned to the police, ICPC and EFCC through the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights. The petition reportedly includes emails, recordings, earlier complaints and copies of the relevant policies as supporting evidence. The allegations have not been independently proven, and the company’s response was not included.
