Are Lebara’s Nigeria Call Rates Fair to Customers?
Lebara has launched operations in Nigeria with a promise of affordable community connectivity, but its call benefits appear different from those offered in the UK and parts of Europe. The concern is that calls from Lebara UK to Nigeria are not included in the free international destinations available on some UK plans. Calls between Lebara UK and Lebara Nigeria numbers may also still attract normal international charges. Within Nigeria, customers reportedly need paid Sabi bundles to call other Lebara users. The company should clearly explain the pricing, regulatory limits and whether it plans to introduce more affordable on-network and diaspora calling options.
