2027: Will Nigerians Choose Competence or the Lesser Evil?

Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election may become more than a contest between political parties. It could test whether voters will choose the candidate they believe can govern effectively or simply support the option they consider less dangerous. With President Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and other opposition figures shaping the conversation, voters may again face difficult calculations.
