Born Into a Less Privileged Background in Nigeria: How Can I Push for Better Electricity?
Being born into a less privileged background in Nigeria can make even basic goals feel difficult. The biggest obstacle I face is the constant uncertainty. My siblings have not abandoned me, and we are not jobless, but every possible solution seems to lead to more questions. I am especially frustrated about electricity supply. Should I petition for a law that could help improve it? I worry people may judge the idea by my name or where I come from instead of considering the issue on its merits. Would protesting, speaking out during an election, or praying to God be a better way to address this? I am struggling to understand why people might focus on someone's background rather than give their ideas a fair hearing.
