Sowore Alleges Tinubu Is Receiving Medical Treatment in France

Omoyele Sowore has alleged that President Bola Tinubu is receiving medical treatment in France, contrary to the Presidency’s position that the President is on a working vacation. Speaking on a television programme, Sowore said his sources indicated that Tinubu was undergoing treatment. He did not state the nature of any alleged illness or provide publicly verifiable evidence for the claim. Tinubu left Nigeria on August 30 for a trip initially described as a three-week vacation, with visits to London and Paris. The Presidency later extended the trip and says the President is hale and hearty, while Vice President Kashim Shettima represented Nigeria at the UN General Assembly.
