Trump Vows US Response After Iran Attacks American Bases in Jordan and UAE
US President Donald Trump says the United States will respond after Iran launched missile and drone attacks on American military positions in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. Trump said US air-defence systems intercepted most of the missiles targeting forces in Jordan. He added that one missile was allowed through after it was assessed as unlikely to cause significant damage. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the attacks were retaliation for a US strike on Iranian rocket launchers on Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz.
