Dunamis Unveils Pedestrian Bridge on Abuja Airport Road After Four-Month Construction
Dunamis International Gospel Centre has unveiled a pedestrian bridge on Abuja’s busy Airport Road, a project it funded as part of its community support efforts. The bridge was commissioned by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike after being completed in about four months. Dr Paul Enenche said the church built the bridge to improve safety for pedestrians and reduce dangerous road crossings. His wife, Dr Becky Enenche, said the church previously provided buses to help people cross the road, but a permanent bridge became necessary. Wike said the church’s application, first submitted in 2018, was approved in February 2026. The Federal Road Safety Corps noted that the Airport Road corridor has recorded pedestrian crashes and urged residents to use the new facility.
