Lagos Fashion Week 2026 continued on Friday, October 30, as about 20 brands presented their latest work on the Day 3 runway. The evening brought together fashion, music and culture, with designers exploring craftsmanship, heritage, texture and bold new silhouettes. Désirée Iyama marked 10 years in fashion with “This Is Why,” a feminine SS27 collection featuring tulle, organza, ruffles and vivid green, chartreuse, red and white looks. Studio Imo’s “Clan” celebrated the community behind craftsmanship through inventive crochet, wool and macramé pieces. Bloke introduced its Designer-in-Residence programme with Pelumi Oyewo’s futuristic “Tzar Bomba” collection. Abiola Olusola’s “Bound for Lagos” used colour, prints, fringe and flowing silhouettes to capture the energy of the city. Pettre Taylor’s “The Middlemen” reflected on heritage through knitwear, woven fabrics and oversized denim, while Sahrazad’s “Inner Child” blended Moroccan-inspired weaving and prints with themes of healing and creative freedom. With one final day of runway shows ahead, Day 3 showed the range of African designers shaping contemporary fashion through personal stories and striking craftsmanship.
