Mob Lynches Alleged Motorcycle Thief on Dafara-Gaube Road in Abuja

A notorious motorcycle snatcher, Haruna Yahuza (aka Gwaska), was lynched by a mob on Dafara-Gaube road in Kuje Area Council, Abuja. Witnesses say the incident unfolded on Monday around 8:12pm after he allegedly snatched a bike and stabbed a cyclist. The cyclist, left bleeding at the scene, identified Yahuza as the attacker. Local youths joined the chase after word spread, while his accomplice escaped into the bush. When they caught up with Yahuza near Dafara village, the crowd beat him with blunt objects. He later died from his injuries. The injured cyclist was rushed to a Kuje hospital, and the stolen motorcycle has been recovered, according to a resident who spoke with a national daily.
