Anambra CP Orders DPOs to Keep Police Stations Clean, Professional and Rights-Respecting
Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Nnanna Oji Ama, has directed Divisional Police Officers to maintain clean, orderly and functional police stations while ensuring professionalism and respect for citizens’ fundamental rights. The commissioner gave the directive during unscheduled inspections of the Rapid Response Squad in Awkuzu, as well as police stations in Dunukofia, Oyi and Ogbunike. He assessed facilities, operational equipment and personnel readiness. He urged officers to remain responsive to security threats in their areas and said well-maintained stations could improve public confidence and service delivery. The command also restated its commitment to intelligence-led and community-oriented policing across Anambra State.
