I Am Struggling With Loan Repayments and Need Advice on My FCMB Loan
I am going through a very difficult financial period and I need advice before I visit FCMB next week. If I default on a loan repayment, can FCMB withdraw money from my accounts with other banks? I intend to discuss a new repayment date with them because I do not want to avoid the debt. I had planned to use money I was holding for someone to clear the loan, but the person needed it urgently because of an emergency. I have already cleared my OPay and PalmPay loans gradually, and I do not want to take another high-interest loan just to repay this one. My finances became worse after I went without salary for about six weeks. I have tried to find online video-editing and AI-content jobs, as well as other work opportunities, but nothing stable has come through yet. Transport costs and repayments have also consumed the little money I hoped to save. I am still looking for more work and trying to repay everyone I owe. I have printed my bank statement as proof because my banking app does not allow screenshots. I would appreciate honest advice on how to approach FCMB and manage this repayment situation.
