Nigerian Man Jailed in UK for Hacking Woman’s Accounts and Blackmailing Her
A Nigerian man, Bosun Osagie, has been jailed for two years and three months in the UK after pleading guilty to computer hacking and blackmail. Merseyside Police said a woman reported in February 2023 that her Snapchat and X accounts had been hacked. Her photos were allegedly used to create fake accounts, solicit sex work and sell her images online. Police said Osagie later blackmailed the victim for money. A court also issued a 10-year restraining order preventing him from contacting her.
