Why Creators Get Views but Still Struggle to Make Money
I have watched creators spend hours scripting with AI tools, designing polished posts and editing videos around trends. The views rise and comments come in, but their income stays the same. The problem is often not the content. It is a missing part of the business system. The first two layers are creation and distribution. Good content attracts attention, while platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn help it reach new people. But platform reach is rented. An algorithm change can reduce visibility at any time, so creators need a way to move interested followers to a space they control. The next layers are monetisation and payment infrastructure. People should be able to see what is being sold, understand the price and pay with little effort. A clear product page, booking option or paid community can reduce friction. Reliable payment options also matter, especially for creators in Nigeria selling to customers abroad. Creators often keep improving their videos while neglecting the path from attention to payment. Before making another post, I would ask: can someone buy from me clearly, quickly and securely? If not, that is the layer to fix.
