INEC has reportedly reaffirmed its recognition of the David Mark-led leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for candidate nominations ahead of the 2027 general election. The commission’s spokesperson, Mohammed Haruna, said its position is based on an existing Supreme Court judgment, according to the report.
