Activist Harrison Gwamnishu has dismissed viral claims that the body of missing fashion entrepreneur Evelyn Onyema was found floating in a Lagos river. Evelyn was reported missing two days after she was last seen with her boyfriend in the Bonny Camp area of Lagos. A video showing an unidentified woman’s body in a river later circulated online, leading to speculation that it was Evelyn. Gwamnishu said divers retrieved the body and confirmed it was not Evelyn. Police are now involved as efforts continue to locate her.
