Child Left at Akwa Ibom Residence as Residents Seek Family

An Akwa Ibom resident says a woman left a child and a bag of belongings at his boss’s home on Monday evening, November 2, then left. The residents are asking anyone with information about the child’s family to contact them. The homeowner, Emaeyak Umoh, said the mother had earlier approached his children’s facility, but he turned her away because it lacked the specialist resources the child may need. Umoh has also alleged that the child may be autistic.
