Ejiofor Urges Decisive Lawful Action After Mass Burial of Kaduna Attack Victims
Human rights lawyer Ifeanyi Ejiofor has called on Nigerians and the government to use lawful and constitutional means to stop recurring attacks on communities. His statement followed the reported killing of at least 30 people in Naridan, a farming community near the Kaduna–Plateau border. Twenty-seven victims were buried in a mass funeral conducted by the Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan. Ejiofor said the killings reflect a grave security crisis and warned against national indifference. He urged the government to deploy available intelligence and constitutional resources to protect lives, while calling for constructive criticism from religious leaders to be taken seriously.
