Ajadi Urges Tinubu to Resign Over Abduction of 19 Prospective Corps Members
APM senatorial candidate Olufemi Ajadi has urged President Bola Tinubu to resign if the Federal Government cannot secure the release of 19 prospective NYSC members abducted in Imo State. The victims were reportedly travelling from Ibadan to orientation camps in Abia and Akwa Ibom when gunmen attacked two buses along the Owerri-Onitsha Road in Umunoha. Their abductors were said to have demanded N50 million for each victim. Ajadi called for an urgent rescue operation and stronger security on major highways. He also said Tinubu should not seek re-election in 2027 if his administration fails to address insecurity.
