Stray Bullet from Cultists Kills 20-Year-Old Woman in Bayelsa

A 20-year-old woman, identified as Blessing, was shot dead by a stray bullet in Amassoma, Bayelsa State. According to reports, suspected cultists stormed a local laundry shop to attack a man. He tried to escape, prompting the gunmen to open fire. The stray bullet missed the intended target and struck Blessing as she returned from church. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she later died. Police spokesperson Musa Muhammed confirmed the incident and said an investigation has been launched.
