Ekiti First Lady Urges Youths to Build Reading Habits and Meaningful Relationships

Ekiti State First Lady, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, has encouraged young people to embrace reading, uphold strong values and build purposeful relationships that can support personal and professional growth. She gave the charge at the sixth edition of the Peace House Book Club in Ado-Ekiti, where participants reviewed *Cultivating Strategic Relationships: The Uncommon Advantage to Achieving Personal Fulfilment* by Dr Gbenga Emiloju. Represented by her Senior Special Assistant on Advocacy, Dr Eunice Fasanmi, the First Lady said competence may open doors, but character, integrity and trust sustain relevance. She urged participants to build dependable networks of mentors, peers and friends before they need them. The event also featured reviews by academics and public officials, with speakers highlighting the role of books, values and strategic relationships in strengthening communities.
