Serah Ibrahim, a senior aide to Peter Obi, has accused some members of the Obidient Movement of applying different standards to similar comments. She said a Lagos-based movement leader expressed admiration for Atiku Abubakar and mild criticism of Peter Obi without attracting backlash. According to her, she later reposted the same message and was heavily criticised. Ibrahim said the reaction showed an echo chamber and alleged that some supporters focus more on who makes a statement than on the statement itself.
