ADC Candidates, Supporters Defect to APC in Kebbi Ahead of 2027

Members of the ADC Legacy Group in Kebbi State, including a House of Representatives candidate and two State Assembly candidates, have joined the All Progressives Congress. Governor Nasir Idris received the defectors at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi. He promised equal opportunities within the APC and said his administration would continue its grassroots-focused programmes in agriculture, education and healthcare. The group’s leader, Bala Maga Zuru, said they joined the APC after observing the governor’s policies and development projects. The move adds to political realignments in Kebbi as parties position themselves ahead of the 2027 elections.
