Keyamo Condemns Blockade of Peter Obi’s Planned Benue Visit
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo has condemned the disruption of Peter Obi’s planned visit to Yelwata in Benue State, describing it as unacceptable in a democracy. Keyamo said no political disagreement or alleged rivalry should justify preventing any candidate from moving freely or engaging with supporters. He urged politicians and their supporters to express their grievances through the ballot rather than violence or intimidation. He also accused parts of the media of treating political confrontations differently depending on the party involved, and called for fairer reporting across party lines.
